The Client was carrying out a loft extension on his new North London property. As part of the works he wanted to integrate solar panels into the roof.
He also benefitted from the councils grant for residents wishing to install renewable energy. This scheme is financed by carbon offset payments, which are collected through the planning system when new developments in the borough fall short of the Mayor of London’s carbon targets.
